Family Violence Service
Quantum provides a specialist family violence support service to women and their children within the Baw Baw, Latrobe and Wellington Shires.  Family violence workers deliver outreach and office-based services from Warragul, Morwell and Sale offices.  
The program offers a central intake service from the Morwell office to women and their children in providing crisis assistance, advice and referral for on-going Family Violence case management support.

Staff work with women and children to assess, case plan and link in with a range of services to support them.  Support includes identifying safety issues, developing safety plans, legal needs, short and long term accommodation options and accessing a range of support services including medical centres, counselling, emergency relief and education facilities.

Child FIRST and Integrated Family Services Latrobe & Baw Baw, Adolescent Parent Support Program

Quantum provides a specialised service for Adolescent Parents or soon-to-be parents aged up to 24 years, experiencing significant personal, social and financial issues. The program is delivered by Quantum within the partnership of Child FIRST Integrated Family Services with Anglicare, Queen Elizabeth Centre, Wanjana Lidj, Berry Street and Department of Human Services.

The Adolescent Parent Support Program provides individual case management and Quantum staff conduct assertive outreach to assist clients within the Latrobe Shire.  The program aims to support adolescent parents to balance the issues of becoming parents, helping them to develop parenting skills, increasing their confidence, and abilities to meet the developmental needs of their child or children. Quantum staff also assist by providing referrals for young parents to access services.

Gippsland Early Intervention Services Community Based Support Worker

Quantum’s role in the Gippsland Early Intervention Service partnership is to provide outreach support to families who are undertaking counselling or group work to address aggressive behaviours and want to change and improve their relationship.
